I have been trying to import a healthy kids sports drink from America for most of the year and due to costs,delays and regulations etc... have decided to produce my own brand using some of the design concepts that have come across to aim at the specified target audience.I have done so much research on the project for the original drink I was planning to import and certainly identified a demand and gap in the market, so it seems the next most logical step now that things haven't worked out is to produce my own product if possible.The research already undertaken and contacts made include distributors,advertising, storage,strategic partnerships,labelling requirements,governing body approval,pricing,competitor analysis etc.

I would like to know your opinion regarding the most cost effective way to find a drink technologist either in the UK or abroad and then once the recipe is developed a suitable manufacture to produce the design concept and labelling in order to give this drink a chance in the market.

Any guidance you maybe able to offer would be greatly appreciated.
