September 7th 2010 - a very special FOOD NETWORKING will take place at Speciality and Fine Food Fair instead of our usual venue. Join us from 10am to 1130am in the Small Business Forum and network with other food businesses.  You will need to have registered at www.specialityandfinefoodfairs.co.uk in advance to gain entry free of charge to this event.  Come and network then enjoy the Show.
Not Just Food, our parent company,  has organised the speakers programme for the Small Business Forum too - there are some great speakers across the 3 day show ....and we hope too that all the talks will be available on ww.thefoodnetwork.co.uk after the show.

Jane Milton runs a monthly event in London for food and drink businesses to meet, have informal discussions about the issues facing them, share supplier information and offer each other feedback and support.

The meeting is free to attend , just turn up any time between 10am and midday , and connect with some of the people who are there.

As with any networking ...the etiquette is simple ....
For networking to work people have to MEET, KNOW, LIKE and TRUST you so you need to engage in conversations, get to know people, help people with their queries where you can either yourself or by referring them on to other contacts, build relationships, and gain their trust or they will never want to do business with you nor recommend you to others.

People who just thrust their cards and literature at others and are only interested in getting their sales pitch across are never successful, nobody enjoys being with them and we really won't welcome you at our meetings .

Meetings are on the first Tuesday morning of the month from 10am to midday - just turn up, whenever you can during that time, buy yourself a coffee, join in with the discussions.
