The Food Network started in the late 1990’s when it became apparent that many food and food related businesses around London would like to network with peers but often found it difficult to commit to regular meetings because of work pressure. So the idea of an electronic forum was formed.......
One immediate advantage was that this meant there was no geographical barrier to the Network and businesses from across the UK and some from Europe signed up. The group grew by word of mouth and reputation for helping businesses and being incredibly good value for money.
In 2006 the first Food Network website was created to allow information to be available all the time eg our fantastic pdf's and recordings of talks on key subjects of interest to food businesses. This meant more businesses became aware of The Food Network.
The Network continues to expand grow and offer more services to its members
